Out in the Community

Domestic Violence Awareness Month is a time to spread awareness about domestic violence emergency shelters and services.  Silence hides violence, but we can all stand against violence and speak out.

1 in 3 women have been physically abused by an intimate partner. For 1 in 5, the abuse is severe.  CADV joins forces with many local and national allies in the fight against violence and abuse. We listen to victims, understand where they are coming from, and help them rebuild their lives.

Call our hotline if you or someone you know needs help: 718-439-1000.
