Spring Breakfast 2011: Bullying in the 21st Century

The Center Against Domestic Violence breakfast forum, Bullying in the 21st Century, featured a panel of experts discussing how to stop bullying and the impact of bullying on youth and adults.  This serious and timely topic drew a diverse audience of over 100 including elected officials, law enforcement officers, lawyers, educators, service providers, mental health professionals, parents and activists to the Harvard Club on April 14.

The Center’s panelists have worked hard to end bullying.  The Bullying in the 21st Century panel included Carla Franklin- an adult cyber bullying survivor; Liz Lasky, LCSW – Center Against Domestic Violence RAPP Coordinator; Lawrence Newman – Deputy Unit Chief – Special Victims Bureau, New York County District Attorney’s Office; Dominick A. D’Angelo, Principal – David A. Boody Intermediate School 228; and was moderated by Paula L.
