The Clothesline Project at Brooklyn Borough Hall

February 2014 – a hundred RAPP students and peer leaders from all over New York City came together at Brooklyn Borough Hall to commemorate Teen Date Violence Awareness Month.

The Center Against Domestic Violence, the Office of the Brooklyn Borough President and RAPP leaders from Bushwick High School, FDR High School, Sheepshead Bay High School and George Gershwin Jr. High School hosted other students who learned about healthy relationships in skits and songs, viewed poster art and worked on a special teen Clothesline Project.

The Clothesline Project gives participants the chance to design a shirt to commemorate a life lost to relationship violence.
