2008 Financial Highlights (year ending June 30)

  1. This includes a one-time start-up grant of $2,000,000 from the New York City Economic Development Corporation toward the purchase of Women’s Second Start domestic violence shelter. The funds were used for this purchase, increasing the Center’s net assets.
    The Center Against Domestic Violence is a not-for-profit corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law.
